You can always use FTP to upload images to an external web server.
Then NAT will not be a problem. However, this only works for still images.
Other solutions for live streams require some kind of relay server to travel through the NAT. Yawcam does not support that.

Re: Login in the NAT network
No. If you don't control the router where the NAT is performed, it will be hard to make this work.

Re: Stemelet Mode
Yes, the old STEALTH option has been removed.
Run Yawcam as a windows service instead.
More info about that in Yawcam's README or here:

Re: How do I install a 2-camera config clean?
To run multiple instances of Yawcam you don't need to install multiple copies (when using version 0.5.0 or newer). 1) Install one copy of Yawcam. 2) Start Yawcam from the shortcut or start menu. (as usual) 3) Start Yawcam from the shortcut or start menu a second time. 4) You will then get a question...

Re: Login in the NAT network
There is no automatic NAT traversal.
You will have to open a port in your router to allow traffic to Yawcam.
More info about that here:

Re: yawcam wont start, fatal exception log file
Most likely there is a video or audio device connected to your computer that Yawcam can't handle. Sometimes when this happens, Yawcam can crash. As a first step, please update the drivers for all your video and audio devices. Next step would be to disconnect the video and audio devices from the comp...

Re: Changing background image for Streams
Please make sure that you are browsing the correct folder when trying to select the image.
As default, the file browser will open the location:
C:\Users\%username%\.yawcam\stream\img
Is this the location where you saved your new images?

Re: YAWCAM and WINDOWS11
I have not had the chance to try Yawcam in Windows 11 yet. The traybar icon is not supposed to be visible when you run Yawcam as a service. But when you run Yawcam in normal mode, the traybar icon should always be visible. The "show/hide" option in the traybar popup menu will only affect the program...

Re: yawcam fails sending email on motion detection
Strange that you get different behavior with the same settings. As a first step, you could try to update the mail library used in Yawcam described here: https://www.yawcam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13084 You can also generate debug info, described here: https://www.yawcam.com/forum/viewtopic.php...

Re: Record longer Motion Detection?
I'm sorry to hear your car got burglarized! The current version of Yawcam will only record video as long as there still is movement in front of the camera. There is no setting for longer recording. Sorry. I'm working on another version where it's possible to save video before and after an event occu...

This depends on the drivers for the camera.
Some devices will freeze the video while adjusting these settings and some will not.

Re: Latest official release is newer than latest beta release
Sadly no big news to report. There is however a new beta version that was released after Yawcam 0.7.0. It contains a new "darkness filter" discussed here: https://www.yawcam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13000&p=22137 All beta versions can be found here: https://www.yawcam.com/beta/ There is no new ...
