I just tested the new applet ,and the one that came with 0.2.4, and I do not get an image with the MSJVM, only the Sun Java will give me the image. I'm running Win2K Pro, and MSJAVA VM build 5.0.3810

This version is a very nice change, I have all the functions working nicely, I like the fact that no signed applet is not needed anymore! The zoom feature is cool. I am wondering why the install defaults to the out.gif instead of out.jpg?

I have found that if I don't have any of the startup features set to start up when opening the program, I don't have any problems with the software.
I don't know why this is but i am ok with it.

audio jar

It is possible to do audio with webcam software, all that is needed is an audio.jar applet to connect to. webcam32 has this feature.

Program won't open on start up

This morning I went to run Yawcam on W2KPro machine and the program wouldn't load, the splash screen just stayed on the monitor, and nothing would happen from there. I had to use the Task Manager to get the splash screen off the monitor. After 3 re-boots, still no start up, so I un_installed the pro...

Would it be possible to have a "default save" setting to the www directory that would save the broadcasters name.jpg image without the name0.jpg, name1.jpg, and so on? this would be a nice feature for use on some webcam websites. Its purpose would be to have a preview mode for the cams bro...

I just have to say that this Yawcam program is just about the coolest free or pay webcam software I have ever used. I have been using webcam32 for years, but with the java change, wc32 has been a real pain lateley, as MSJVM has to used to view the streaming cam image. So anyway I would like to thank...
