Re: Maximum Frame Rate issue still in BETA 2014-02-10
Same here. YawCam forces my IP cam into its maximum framerate and that's really annoying.

Re: Garbage at bottom of image
Yep, you're probably right. The converted easycap picture is 640x400 instead of the standard 640x480 that Yawcam expects to get.rbrickh wrote:I think its detecting the input as a different size than the easycap is really providing and that's what is causing it.

Overlay bug in Beta 0.4.1>2
Adding an overlay image doesn't work properly in the latest beta. The overlay image will be added to the cam image in 'File' output mode, but not when the motion detection snaps a picture.

Re: Grey area in HD resolution
If you're using wifi somewhere in the chain, it could be that there's a congestion. Other computers in the house using the wifi as well, perhaps?

Re: Yawcam BETA 2014-02-10
Have been using the beta for about a week now and the Motion Detection is snappy as anything, responding really fast. Very good. Max filter works fine too.

Re: Garbage at bottom of image
Reminds me a bit of this thread: http://yawcam.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4351 and to me it looks like a similar problem. Something can't keep up with the video stream. Is it possible to lower the frame rate of the cam (or converter)? And if so, does that help?

Feature request: anti aliasing
Not a big issue but it would be nice if the overlay texts were anti-aliased. The characters look very blocky now.

Yawcam forcing maximum fps rate
Using my IP cam's software, I set the cam's frame rate to 5 fps. All software I've used respects that setting but Yawcam appears to override it and force the cam to maximum frame rate. When I log into the cam, after using Yawcam, the framerate is at its maximum setting. Why is Yacam doing this and h...

Re: Grey area in HD resolution
Looks to me like your computer (or network) can't keep up with the video stream. Have you tried lowering the number of frames per second the camera sends out? Does that make a difference?

Re: Foscam and IP Camera
Right now I have 192.168.1.19:88/video.cgi and username and password, but still no joy. Try using http://192.168.1.19:88/video.cgi?user=USERNAME&pwd=PASSWORD or rtsp://192.168.1.19:88/videoMain Any joy with that? Other possible solution I stumbled across: install WebcamXP, let its "Add Cam...
