Of course it is free, but it has so much potential!

I personally find it far better than many commercial apps.
i would be happy to donate or even buy, but then support would be required, just in case.

Multicam, PTZ and a few other cosmetic changes (see requests) and this app would be gold!

Oh dear!

I was reading

Yawcam_BETA_2008-03-18.exe instead of

Yawcam_BETA_2007-03-18.exe

My apologies!

Nevertheless, that makes the latest version 6 months old!

Small features, modification requests.

Nice app, but some things are tedious. 1: Clicking the close button on the Window (the big X top right), it closes without any warning. Especially annoying when you have to set the cam format over and over. 2: The 'Hide Now' as a button on the main screen? 3: Next to the button already there, add th...

Re: working now

Actually it was working all along. I was testing it from work and they must be blocking my address. Is there a typical port which would work in these instances? I would really like to check my webcam from work. Thanks! The question here is: are they blocking your IP address, or just the ports? If i...

I would save myself a lot of trouble and add the audio stream to the video, in which case it will be synchronized. If people listen and watch on the net, they don't need the radio. Synchronizing video is already a tricky part, let alone you could time it exactly on the net, as there will always be u...

You are correct about it being more flexible to change the default ports on software, BUT, like you say, if that Linksys is the most common one on the market, the worst thing you can do security-wise is leave it's port to default!

Maybe you should change the port on your router, you cannot expect every piece of software to adapt itself to your router can you?

Re: Feature request - web management interface

My Yawcam-powered birdcam is a hundred+ feet away behind my barn. It would make things so much easier for me if I could make configuration changes to Yawcam from the computer inside my house. The easiest way to do that is to install some kind of remote PC control, like VNC or even the Remote Deskto...
