Re: Yawcam on Linux

No, there is not any Linux version of Yawcam.
Some years ago I did try to run Yawcam under Wine in Linux, but without success. Maby it's possible with Wine today?

Re: no TrayIcon12 in java.library.path

In the beginning of the debug log, did you get: os.arch: x86 or os.arch: amd64 ? Also, let's double check the size of the dll files. Right click on the files and open the properties dialog. The correct size is: TrayIcon12.dll - 52,736 bytes. TrayIcon12_x64.dll - 39,424 bytes Do you have the same siz...

Re: Suggestion: Pop-up Preview window on motion?

Thanks for the suggestion!
I see why this could be useful.

It's now added to the todo-list. But as always, I can't say anything about when it will be implemented.
The todo-list is long and time is short...

Re: Multiple cams

One instance of Yawcam can't handle multiple cameras at the same time, but you can run multiple instances of Yawcam.
Just start Yawcam several times. Each instance of Yawcam can handle one camera.

Re: Upload Motion Capture images to website

Yes, if you enable motion detection's action "Ftp upload".
It will then upload images caught by motion detection to your website.
You'll find some info about the available actions here:

Re: Feature request - is it possible to use hardware MJPEG support

1) Try to change the settings by clicking: "Settings -> Device(X) -> Change to device..." That dialog might work better. 2) That cpu usage sounds high. What kind of cpu does your computer have? Are these numbers for Yawcam or for the total system? It's not possible to do MJPEG streaming in Yawcam wi...

Re: Yawcam BETA 2016-03-23

The problem could be related to the USB controller. Do you have any other devices connected to the same USB port? Sometimes the bandwidth for the USB is too low when several devices are connected to the same USB controller. Try to connect your camera to a different USB port on the computer and see i...

Re: Won't start - fresh clean install with current java RTE

@nevilread: Something goes wrong when Yawcam is scanning your computer for connected audio and video devices. A specific device can sometimes make Yawcam crash like in your case. The best way to get Yawcam running is to first identify what device is causing Yawcam to crash, and then update the drive...
