I'm glad you found Yawcam :D - The ability to have the preview screen and other tools all in one single window. (Skinnable?) I have to rewrite rather large parts of Yawcam to make this possible. So I don't think this will happen in a near future. But I sure will keep the idea in my mind. I'm not sur...

I'm starting to believe that your ISP has put you behind a router that you can't control... In this case you will not be able to use the stream output (or the built-in webserver) in Yawcam :( Maybe you could talk to your ISP and ask them to tell you exactly how you are connected to the Internet... I...

I'm not familiar with either window's firewall nor norton's... but my guess would be that Norton will have much more nice settings ;-)

It sure can... What rules have you added to your firewall?
You will have to open up for incomming TCP-traffic on port 8081 to get to work.

I really can't figure out how you are connected to the Internet. It looks like you are sitting behind a router... and maybe you are, but this router might be located at your Internet Service Provider. Have you ever been able to run any services, like an ftp server for example, on your computer? Mayb...

is any problem if the http://localhost:8081/ , dosent work :?: Nope, sorry for that... Apparently localhost never will work with the applet. My mistake. But there still is something that strange... Have you tested if anyone else can see you on: http://81.193.228.120:8081/ ? This address doesn't wor...

As usual I'm a bit confused  ...but let's test one thing: 1) Uncheck "advanced" so that you don't force a public ip. 2) Now try the address http://localhost:8081/ in your browser. 3) Also try http://169.254.18.65:8081/ in your browser. Can you see yourself on any of the two addresses...

I'm sorry, but I still don't have any plans on implementing sound in the near future.
One big problem is that I think there will be performence issues when implementing sound in java. So maybe sound isn't so interesting before Yawcam is ported to c++. ...and that will take time. :(

Is any problem if i use the the same client to view that ip and to stream my video....(in my pc i do ...

Check the URL printed at the bottom of the stream settings window. If the URL contain an ip address that is reserved to local networks or similar, your current settings will not work over the Internet. Please see the FAQ question: "Why doesn't the stream output work over the Internet?" You...

First of all... - Go to the stream panel in the settings and look at the bottom of the window. There you will find two urls. - Start the stream output by pushing the enable button in the main window. - Open a web browser and type the first url you looked up before in the address field of your browse...
