If I have to relay port 8081 to the win machine there is not much point of streaming it over apache's port 80 of my webserver. I agree. The problem is that you always need one port open to the "Yawcam-computer" be able to stream video. I can never send the video stream via the apache soft...

I checked the signed_example.html and now sees that I have written: <param name="Host" value="_Computer_where_you_run_yawcam_"> This is not quite correct. Sorry for that! The host value should instead contain the public address to the computer where you run Yawcam. I'll try to re...

Disabling the stream from auto-start has also made the problem of starting the programme from a different account disappear I'm just getting more and more confused... But if it works then it's great! I'm just hoping the bug-fix I've made in the coming version will solve this problem too. So that th...

Nope, no logfile. But if you want to you can start yawcam with a different startfile. Then you will see a prompt with debug prints and error messages if somethings goes wrong. Get the file here . Save the file in your yawcam directory and start yawcam by dubbel click on the file. Look for lines with...

Yawcam needs nasty questions! Otherwise it wouldn't get any better... I agree, this sounds like a filelocking-problem. What image type are you using? I recently found that the "gif-writer" didn't released the file as it should. So right now I'm hoping that you used gif-files, in that case ...

Well, I'm very easily confused :D
Just like you, I think that sound has a rather low priority right now.

Never thought about this multi-user-problem... Yes you are correct, Yawcam will lock some files when it runs. This will cause problems. The new version (not released yet) will lock fewer files, but still the problem will remain. Actually even if no files where locked all, multiple running processes ...

No, Yawcam doesn't have any support for audio. (Even though one can read something about audio during the installation...) It feels like I have to fix the "image-part" before I start to add sound :-P Hmm... Do you really hear yourself in the speakers when Yawcam is running? Strage. This is...

One can always rely on google :D it took me some time to figure out that I needed to force the external ip address This is the most common problem, and most frequent question I get... So, in the new version (which is not so far from release) there will pop up a warning if a local address is used. We...

Multiple Instances of Yawcam (New instructions): Note: Recent versions of Yawcam can start multiple instances without following the instructions below in this post. Just start Yawcam again and answer "Yes" on the prompt if you want to start another instance. I'll leave the old instruction...

Wow, I have never tried to unplug my camera when Yawcam is running. I have to test it right away  ... Ok, I'm back. The preview window went black, but I didn't get a bluescreen. I think what happens depends on the drivers for your camera. I'm using Windows XP Pro and a Logitech QuickCam Pro 30...

I'm sorry to say that I don't think so.
There are not so many users that will be able to use it, so the priority for this is very low.
