Problem with motion detection

Post by Mr Wolf »

Hi to all!
I'm experiencing this problem: I set Yawcam to save images in my hard disk when starting motion detection; if I launch Yawcam and then start motion detection, images are saved correctly, but if I stop motion detection and then start it again, images are not saved anymore, I have to close Yawcam and launch it again. :x
Anyone experienced this problem?

It looks like you have a flood control on your motion detection, which makes it wait for an amount of time before re-enabling the motion detection, Can you check what interval you have it set for?

Yes! In the flood control, I set 1 second.
Could it depend on that? :?

Try disabling the flood control, although at 1 second it shouldn't stop much functionality, maybe it causes a problem because the interval is so small.

Ok, but, if I disable it, with which interval of time images are saved?

The flood control is only to prevent being flooded, I'm guessing that on every move you make it's gonna take a picture, but if you want a picture every second, then use the file output, not the motion detection.

Well, it's motion detection I need 8)
However, the problem depends on that, on flood control?
