Grey area in HD resolution

My camera is capable of outputting to 720P, but when I do this in the yawcam preview window and in the stream I get grey areas at the bottom of the image. When I switch to VGA this grey area dissapears. Do I need to configure Yawcam, or is this just a limitation of the program?

Also, Java Binary SE continues to cause Yawcam to crash..is there a fix for that?

See attached picture...seems to be 720P resolution which causes the grey area

Looks to me like your computer (or network) can't keep up with the video stream. Have you tried lowering the number of frames per second the camera sends out? Does that make a difference?

I guess it must be the internet connection...cause sometimes I get it, other times it works fine..

If you're using wifi somewhere in the chain, it could be that there's a congestion. Other computers in the house using the wifi as well, perhaps?
