Motion detection stops - white screen

Hi guys,

juts installed the latest version of Yawcam on Windows 10 laptop.

I have set it up to register one frame every minute, that works perfectly.

I have also setup motion detection for part of the screen, most of the time it works but once a day or every other day it stops detecting. WHen i go to motion detection options and preview, the preview screen is white. But the video is normal on the main screen. The only way to fix this is to re-start yawcam.

Any help appreciated,

Ps: and while we're at it, i managed to get a date and timestamp overlay on the images recorded every minute, but how can i add this overlay on the motion detection images ?

Thank you for describing the same problem I have been having with version 0.6.1. The motion detection seems to 'white out'. Only restarting would fix it. I have reinstalled 0.6.0 to see if the problem goes away.
