I have to bring the settings down to 1 fps and 5% quality to keep the stream from freezing up. Running XP home edition SP 2, P4 2.9 Ghz 1.5 Ghxz RAM. IE 6 sp2. on DSL upstream 384, Linksys router (port opened). Latest Java and YAWCAM 0.3.0. Task manager has shows CPU getting hit hard when I throttle up, but from other posts, it should run on this machine. Any ideas?
Thanks, Rich
Stream needs to be throttled to work.
I have the exact same issue. I load up the streaming video (outside my local network) and it appears to be frozen. If I scale it back to 1% it streams fine. 5% is fine. 10% fine. 20% runs for about 3 seconds and freezes. 30% runs for about 3 frames and freezes. Anything higher will show 1 new frozen frame.
YAWCAM is running on an XP SP2 machine (dual-core 3200 w/4 gb ram).
Trying to view from multiple sources all with the same issue.
