Hi all,
I've just installed yawcam on my win10pro 64 laptop.
installation seems ok, no errors.
I installed and started the service.
Then I stopped the service and tried to launch the GUI: it starts and suddenly stops, guess crashing...
Really weird that the service doesnt get me any errors, but without the GUI I'm not able to configure it...
anyone knows or already had the similar issue? What can I check?
thanks!
Yawcam GUI suddenly stops or crash after the run
Re: Yawcam GUI suddenly stops or crash after the run
this is the error I get:

I already enabled minidump through Advanced System Settings -- > Startup & Recovery -- > Settings -- > Choosing 'small memory dump'.
but I got the same error...
What else can I check?

Re: Yawcam GUI suddenly stops or crash after the run
or, at least: how can I copy the configuration of YawCam from another running PC?
I have a second laptop, win10pro 64, the same YawCam ver 0.6.2 installed and running.
I need to open GUI only to configure it (motion detection, mail settings, the ports for firewall, etc...) but I always run YawCam by services, not from GUI.
So, if I would be able to "export" the configuration from the second laptop, I could copy it into this one...
is there any chance?
thank you all

oh, yebb. I try this twice. On the first try, Yawcam is running when I copy the settings file. OMG.mfran2002 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 28, 2022 10:12 am Hi all,

If you are having problems with Yawcam crashing or not launching the GUI properly, you can try to install the latest version of Yawcam.

Other programs running simultaneously with Yawcam may cause conflicts and lead to crashes. Close any unnecessary programs or background processes to free up system resources.
Re: Yawcam GUI suddenly stops or crash after the run
If Yawcam's graphical user interface (GUI) suddenly stops or crashes after running, there could be several reasons behind this issue. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Update Yawcam: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Yawcam. Visit the official Yawcam website and download the latest version to ensure you have the most up-to-date software.
2. Check System Requirements: Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements to run Yawcam smoothly. Check the documentation or website of Yawcam for the specific system requirements.
