YawCam - Standalone all inclusive?

With Oracle dumping Java Run Time off their road-map, this causes some issues with those that want to use YawCam, has there been a port or a change in the development of the YawCam to have no dependency to Java, or can have a portable version that is all inclusive. I love this program, however it looks like with the need for Java, this might become a end of life software.
