Yawcam

Hi all,
I installed YC on 3 PCs and only on one of those I'm getting troubles with email sending on motion detection.
Exactly the same settings on each PC.
On that PC I can successfully send email (with powershell for example) with the same parameters (from, to, smtp server, port#, ssl).

The console gets me the error like this: "fail to connect to the SMTP server"

but the smtp server is the same of the other PCs, everything is identical.
and with powershell or telnet I can reach the smtp server...
I tried to explicitly allow the YC app (both yawcam.exe and yawcam_service.exe) on the windows firewall, no other firewalls on the machines.

I see that YC detects the motion and says "email sent to my mailbox", but nothing arrives... neither in SPAM.

what else I can try?

Strange that you get different behavior with the same settings.
As a first step, you could try to update the mail library used in Yawcam described here:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13084

You can also generate debug info, described here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1495
It might help us understand what the problem is.

it works fine!!!

but now YC cannot start as a service any longer. I got this message:


C:\Program Files (x86)\Yawcam>NET START "Yawcam"
System error 193 has occurred.

My laptop has win10pro, 64 bit. It's HP 255 G6 if it can help
