How must is the max resolution in Yawcam ?

My camera can show 1600 x 1200, and I need this high view

If your webcam supports it, Yawcam should detect it and be able to use it.

Appreciating this is a very old post, but things have moved on in 8 years and I'm having trouble with a 4K camera.

When trying to run at 4K, all I get is a letter box view across the bottom of the screen. I can run 1920 x 1080 without probems and also 2592 x 1944 works although distorted by the ratio so it looks as if there could be a 5MP limit, or thereabouts, in Yawcam.

Just to confirm, my camera works OK when checking it in other programs.

Am I not able to use my 4K camera at full resolution?

I just got my hands on a 4K camera and can confirm that Yawcam doesn't handle that resolution (3840x2160) correct.
In my tests 2560x1440 is the highest resolution that works right now.
