multiple cameras on usb hub

I want to capture images from multiple (up to 10) cameras using an USB hub on the same computer (Windows 10, x64). I am running multiple instances of YawCam (starting from the same directory). The first instance with camera #1 works fine. When I run the second instance and choose camera #2 I get the messsage "Could not connect to the device". I tried to install the program on different directories: same result. Selecting the internal webcam works fine, so I guess it has to do with the fact that the software cannot cope with the fact that the camera #1 nad #2 are located on the same hub. Please help!
